An Afternoon with Susan Wiggs

Susan Wiggs will be joining us on Saturday, September 20th, to share the process of creating, selling and publishing a book. Please join us for this entertaining and informative afternoon. There's sure to be something for readers and writers alike!

Lunch will be served at this event, and the afternoon is open to the public. There will be a booksigning after Ms. Wiggs has spoken, also open to the public who are welcome to come and meet the author, purchase her books and have them autographed.

The cost for the afternoon is $25 for members of the Sacramento Valley Rose chapter of the RWA, $35 for non-members. Reservations must be made to Marlene Urso by 5 p.m. September 15, 2008. (You may also call between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. -- 530-644-4204).

Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. The program will begin at approximately 10:30. Lunch will be served at approximately 11:45 a.m. and a booksigning limited to luncheon attendees begins at 12:30 p.m. The public booksigning will begin at 1:30 p.m.

There will also be a raffle drawing for chapter and author-donated baskets. Mark your calendars and join us if you can. It's going to be a fantastic day!

Directions to the Holiday Inn:

From Interstate 80 take the Madison Avenue exit. If you are heading North on I-80, stay in the left-most right hand turn lane for Madison Avenue. If you are heading South on I-80, get in the left land on Madison Avenue. Once on Madison Avenue, turn left at the first light (Date Avenue). The Holiday Inn is at the end of Date Avenue.
