A writer's job doesn't end when the book is finished–or even when it's sold. Editors expect a great deal of promotion on the author's part, and much of that promotion is done in the virtual world. The Sacramento Valley Rose Chapter of RWA® is proud to sponsor the first ever contest focusing on the other side of writing: promotion.
Contest Criteria:
- Effectiveness as a marketing tool
- Ease of navigation
- Aesthetics
- Creative use of design technique
Contest Categories:
- Home Grown: A web site created with a little help from friends or family–the work of amateurs who are not paid to design Web sites.
- Professionally Created: A web site built in exchange for payment or by a professional who earns money to build websites for others.
